Do you offer daycare?

No. However, some families board with us so their dog can come play, run off some energy and socialize with others.

Do you offer discounts for long stays and/or multiple dogs?

No, we do not offer discounts.

Do you require that dogs be groomed before boarding?

We don’t require you to groom your dog before coming or pay for grooming while here after a certain number of days. In fact, it’s better to schedule grooming for after you pick up. We let them out to play in all weather conditions. Most of the time they leave dirty! We have a lot of grass, but dogs like to dig and there are certain places in the yard where they dig to lay in the dirt, and when it rains, well, digging that water out of the hole is so much fun!

Do you offer grooming services or baths?

No, we do not. If there is an accident, we will clean them up. If it has been raining and your dog is muddy, we will hose them off. We recommend having something to cover your seats. We try to bring them in 30 min before they are scheduled to go home if it is wet out. This allows them to dry some.

Do you offer rooms with human furniture like beds and TVs?

We don’t have fancy human bedrooms with twin beds and TVs for dogs like other kennels. What works for humans--what we think is nice and makes us feel relaxed and safe--isn’t the same for dogs. Dogs are pack animals. In our facility, dogs can see and interact with other dogs even when they are in their kennel. Instead of feeling isolated and alone, the dogs feel like they are safe and secure with the pack.

Are the kennels heated and cooled?

Yes, the kennels are heated and cooled.

Do you take Intact dogs?

Yes, we board intact dogs. They are considered Special Care.
